Therapy Assistant Support
Our therapy assistants work one on one with the client, following the occupational therapist's plan to support clients to work on their OT goals.
The OT will plan an individualised program, taking all factors into consideration.
The OT closely monitors the delivery and progress of the plan through supervision, and communications with all involved supports.
Group Therapy
We deliver group therapy for social connections and meaningful skill development. Our groups are run usually during school terms in blocks.
We ensure that the group members are well matched, considering factors like age and interests. This creates opportunities for authentic social connections.
We are currently running a social group for tween and teen girls.
Referrals
We take referrals of all ages, with diagnoses of autism, ADHD, developmental disabilities, and intellectual disabilities.
We also see clients without a diagnosis. If you're unsure as to whether our service will be able to meet your needs, please contact us for a chat.
As we are a private practice, you can self-refer.
We also accept GP referrals.
We provide services to NDIS participants, however we are not a registered provider. This means that we are unable to accept your referral if you are NDIA/NDIS-managed. You can use our service if:
-
You are self-managing your/your child's NDIS funding, i.e., you pay the invoices yourself and are reimbursed by NDIS
-
Your/your child's funding is plan-managed, i.e., a plan manager pays your invoices using your funding.
