A BIT ABOUT US

Our Background

Director and Principal Occupational Therapist, Rhianna Prestage, founded Prestage OT in 2016. Since then we have been servicing the Great Southern Region, focusing mainly on autism, neurodivergence, developmental disabilities, and family-centred practice. We work with people of all ages. We are proudly neuroaffirming and each member of our staff has lived experience which helps with understanding the needs of our clients and providing a quality service.

Prestage OT started out small, and has grown over the years. We currently have five staff members - check back for staff profiles coming soon! In 2019, prior to Covid, we had three final year students from Curtin University complete their fieldwork placement with us.

Rhianna has a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) from Curtin University, and graduated in 2011 with First Class Honours and the title of Dux. She has worked primarily in private practice, as well as within the public sector. Rhianna is studying towards a Graduate Certificate in Autism Diagnosis, through the University of Western Australia. Rhianna grew up in Albany, and returned in 2013 after spending time living, studying and working in Perth. She has two children, a dog named Noodle, and a cat named Moo Moo. Rhianna enjoys pottering around her home and garden, music, playing violin and guitar, and drawing.
